Dawn Giunta is a NY artist born in Astoria, Queens and raised out on Long Island where she has taught art for over 5 years. She has always immersed herself in art and has created all sorts of works utilizing various styles and mediums due to her eclectic nature. She finds that if she uses a particular medium, subject or style for too long she’ll grow weary of it.
From as early as her teenage years, Dawn had always considered professionally exhibiting her work, but knew it wasn’t the right time. She wanted to use her twenties to discover and learn about who she was and who she wanted to become, not only in life, but as an artist. Now in her thirties, Dawn feels confident in her self-essence and expressing that attribute through her art. She creates art for herself; for her enjoyment, and hopefully for others enjoyment too.
